Jordan is a fantastic destination for kids due to its mix of adventure, cultural enrichment, and safety. Children can explore ancient cities like Petra, ride camels in Wadi Rum, and engage in hands-on activities. The country's rich history and Bedouin culture provide valuable learning experiences, all within a family-friendly and safe environment.





DAY 1: QUEEN ALIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – AMMAN

Upon arriving Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) in Amman, the capital of Jordan, JAT Representative holding a sign with your name will be present to meet and assist you with the completion of customs, immigration procedures, passport formalities, and visa handling.Overnight / Amman.


 

DAY 2: CITY TOUR - CHILDREN’S MUSEUM - ROYAL AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM

Transfer to Amman for a tour of the capital city of Jordan. Your visit includes sites and museums such as the Archeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, The CITADEL and the AMPHITHEATRE. Kids can run around and explore ancient ruins while learning about Jordan’s history.

CHILDREN’S MUSEUM : At the Museum, children learn through play, interactions with indoor and outdoor exhibits, reading in the library, expressing themselves at the Art Studio, and connecting with nature in the Secret Garden. These interactive spaces, complimented by live educational programs, encourage children to learn through engagement and self-exploration in a safe environment. A must-visit in the capital city, offering interactive exhibits that engage kids in science, art, and Jordanian culture.

ROYAL AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM : The first public automotive museum in the Arab region, inaugurated by His Majesty King Abdullah II in 2003, it serves as a tribute to the late King Hussein while showcasing part of Jordan's history. The museum displays 80 of the late King's cars and motorcycles, some dating back to 1909. Standing in pristine condition, each vehicle tells a unique story along the late King's life timeline. Together they highlight the 47-year reign of King Hussein, and the history of the Kingdom from the era of His Majesty King Abdullah I, in early 1920, through the era of His Majesty King Abdullah II today. DAY 3 : MADABA - NEBO - AL HAKAYA MUSEUM - PETRA

Proceed to MOUNT NEBO is most known for being the site where Moses overlooked the Holy Land but did not enter it and where a church and a monastery were built to honor him. The book of Numbers (33:47) mentions that when the children of Israel moved from Almon Diblathaim they camped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo, and that the children of Reuben rebuilt the city (Numbers 32:38).

Kids can learn about key biblical stories, adding context to religious teachings. From the summit, they can enjoy panoramic views of the Jordan Valley and Dead Sea, offering an opportunity to understand geography and the significance of the land in ancient history.


AL HAKAYA MUSEUM : (former La Storia) is an immersive culture center with eatery and kids play area where people can take an exciting journey through history to explore Jordan’s religious, historical and cultural heritage as a strategic nexus between different civilizations from the past to the present. Musem, Restaurant and Playground on site!


Visit MADABA, the city of Mosaics, a combination of rural home life and a hot spot for religious tourism. Known as the “City of Mosaics” Madaba is the cultural epicenter for Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Just a short distance from the capitol visitors are just a stone's throw away from the holy monuments of religious iconography.


Kids can discover the famous Madaba Mosaic Map, the oldest surviving cartographic depiction of the Holy Land, teaching them about ancient art and early map-making techniques. By exploring Madaba’s churches and archaeological sites, children can learn about the region’s Christian heritage and the coexistence of different cultures and religions in Jordan.

DAY 4: PETRA VISIT - WADI RUM - CAMEL RIDE - STARGAZING

Visit the ancient city of PETRA, one of Jordan’s national treasures and by far its best known tourist attraction. Petra is the legacy of the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. Admired then for its refined culture, massive architecture and ingenious complex of dams and water channels, Petra is a UNESCO World Heritages Site and one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Inhabited by the Nabateans, Edomites and Romans, Petra brought together the knowledge and skill of these civilizations to create this world wonder. Caravans laden with incense, silks, spices and other exotic goods would rest at Petra.

Home to nomadic Bedouin tribes, Wadi Rum is a a quiet getaway of stars, sand, and sun; a perfect complement from Amman’s epicenter. Once inhabited by the Nabataeans of prehistoric times, Wadi Rum allows you to get lost in large landscapes and horizon lines. The calmness of the desert is sure calm your spirit and de-clutter your thoughts. 

Camel ride for 1 hour.


WADI RUM STARGAZING : Exciting night under the stars in Wadi Rum, one of Jordan's most beautiful locations! This guided tour helps you explore the universe and see stars, planets, and nebulae up close. You’ll start with a fun 30-minute animated presentation about astronomy, followed by a 30-minute session using large telescopes to look at the night sky. The adventure ends with a cool 30-minute laser show for stargazing. Overnight / Wadi Rum.


 

DAY 5: JEEP TOUR - AQABA

Explore the desert in 4x4 Jeeps visiting the holographic pictures carved before Christ on this intriguing tour.


Visiting Wadi Rum combines adventure with education, making it a memorable experience for kids that ignites their curiosity about nature, culture, and history. Continue to Aqaba is a Jordanian port city on the Red Sea's Gulf of Aqaba. Inhabited since 4000 B.C., it's home to the Islamic-era Aqaba Fort. Its beach resorts are popular for windsurfing and other water sports, and the area is a top destination for scuba divers, with notable dive sites including the Yamanieh coral reef in the Aqaba Marine Park, south of the city.Overnight / Aqaba

DAY 6: GLASS BOAT TOUR - AQABA MARINE RESERVE - DEAD SEA

AQABA MARINE RESERVE is located along the southern coast of the Jordanian part of the Gulf of Aqaba . It is estimated to be about seven kilometers long , extending from the southern border of the General Security Officers Club in the south . The land boundary extends to 50 meters east fo the highest point The sea extends about 350 meters to the west of the highest point of the sea . The park aims to preserve the coastal marine enciroment on the southern shore of the city of some uses within well though out and sustainable levels . 

Transfer to Dead Sea, a spectacular natural wonder the Dead Sea is perfect for religious tourism and fun in the sun with the family. With its mix of beach living and religious history you can soak up the sun while Biblical scholars can get their daily dose of religious history. The leading attraction at the Dead Sea is the warm, soothing, super salty water itself – some ten times saltier than sea water, and rich in chloride salts of magnesium, sodium, potassium, bromine, and several others. The unusually warm, incredibly buoyant and mineral-rich waters have attracted visitors since ancient times, including King Herod the Great and the beautiful Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra. All of whom have luxuriated in the Dead Sea's rich, black, stimulating mud and floated effortlessly on their backs while soaking up the water's healthy minerals along with the gently diffused rays of the Jordanian sun.Overnight / Dead Sea.
