WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE VISITING JORDAN

Jordan is two hours ahead of GMT during winter, and three hours ahead during summer. So do not forget to set your watch according to the local time while you travel to Jordan.

Jordan is generally sunny and dry. Spring and autumn are mild and ideal for travel, summers are hot, especially in Petra and Wadi Rum during midday, and winters are cool with chilly evenings. Comfortable walking shoes and layered clothing are recommended year-round.
